2010
The ’Arts on Prescription‘ pilot project in Cambridgeshire offers a non drug based alternative (or supplementary) intervention for people experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety.

Acer Ward – Huntingdon >>
A series of art workshops was organised at Acer Ward, the acute mental health ward at Hinchingbrooke Hospital
Beat the Blues January Event >>
The third Monday‘Blue Monday’ in January is reputed to be one of the most depressing days of the year and this year, Arts and Minds decided to organise an event that would lift people’s spirits.
The Croft at Anglesey Abbey >>
Environmental Artist, Loukas Morely worked with children, parents and staff from the Croft at Hoe Fen, Anglesey Abbey. Lode .
Making Mental Notes Radio Programme >>
The programme, which is an hour long is produced by and for the mental health community in Cambridge and could be heard live on 209 community radio on 105fm on Tuesday afternoons from May 08 – May 09. All programmes were also available on-line on http://www.209radio.co.uk.
Secret Garden at Anglesey Abbey >>
In July and August 09, Arts and Minds continue to build on their relationship with the children, parents and staff from the Croft Child and Family Assessment Unit with Loukas Morley, to create a secret garden in the Hoe Fen Wildlife Discovery Area of Anglesey Abbey.

In December 2008, artist Judith Jones worked ran a day workshop with a group of people from Cambridge Mencap.
Archaeological Dig – Gt Shelford >>
Organised by the University of Cambridge as part of its Higher Education Field Academy scheme which aims to encourage young people who may not have many opportunities to do so, to consider applying for a university education.
ArtsBus >>
Stagecoach bus company has been instrumental in setting up a bus that can be driven to rural areas and used for arts workshops.
Art in the Environment – Anglesey Abbey >>
Children, parents and staff from the Croft, a residential assessment unit on the Ida Darwin site, have had the opportunity
to take part in art workshops during the school holidays at Anglesey Abbey, a national trust site in Lode, Cambridgeshire.
MICHAELHOUSE CHORALE >>
The singing workshops take place from 2.30 pm every Friday at Michaelhouse, Trinity Street, Cambridge, led by Sam Hayes,

Open Studios exhibition, St Paul’s Church >>

Cambourne Stories Taster Days >>
Following planning and discussions between Dr Peter Bailey and others providing health, housing, community development and arts services,
including Arts and Minds, a programme of story-telling related activities took place during the February half term 2008.
DARWIN CENTRE, Fulbourn >>
During the school holidays artist Sandra Scott worked with a group of young people at the Darwin Centre, a specialist residential unit
for young people who have mental health problems.

4 young people and their siblings took place in a series of workshops entitled We’re all the same, We’re all different.
