Art workshops during half term holiday February 08

4 young people and their siblings took place in a series of workshops entitled We’re all the same, We’re all different. Artist Caroline Kisby with help from the staff from the department, worked with the group to produce a Tree of Life inspired by the artist Klimt. During the five sessions, the children enjoyed learning a variety of new art-forms and skills – mosaics coasters, felt-making to produce abstract designs and writing poetry. They enjoyed working on their individual objects as well as decorating the tree in a group project using stencils, textiles and poems.
